Behind the Scenes

Anela and I started working on this project in July of 2025 as part of my independent study with Prof. James Biddle. We wanted to continue to expand on the world and characters from Pages of Vermillion, so Anela wrote the 15-page script that eventually turned into Metanoia.

It was a great experience to be at the head of a much more ambitious project than any I had done before, and I learned a lot from the process (never take pre-pro time for granted). I hope to write about my experiences and the things I learned once everything is complete.

The first official screening was on May 1st, but we plan to revisit the edit to clean things up before going on the festival circuit.
